A surfacing solution for every situation Our specialist surfacing teams spend the majority of their time working on roading surfaces. This depth of experience allows us to work effectively with you to select and install the best solution to meet your safety and durability needs.
Coloured surfacing We can supply you with a wide range of coloured stone and glass aggregate surfaces. ProTint, our coloured surfacing system, provides good durability and colour that will not fade. It can be used to enhance visual awareness and safety around bus and cycle lanes, pedestrian crossings and parking areas. It can also be used purely for aesthetic purposes – to tie in with building or environmental design.
High friction surfacing Our high friction products include ProGrip, an anti-skid surfacing solution. ProGrip is highly effective in enhancing safety in black spot areas – particularly on sharp bends and at major intersections. ProGrip raises the PSV above 75, maintaining the level of skid resistance for extended periods of time. The ProGrip and ProTint systems both use a HAPAS BBA¹ approved resin, ensuring we achieve high quality solutions with a long life.
Road Retexturing Increasing traffic density on our roads is driving innovations to prolong pavement life. ITS specialises in both water cutting and scabbling. Both of these road retexturising techniques offer cost-effective and reliable temporary solutions. They enhance safety, raise SCRIM² results, and extend the life of the seal – offering you value for money and flexibility in your network maintenance programming.
ProPrint ProPrint, a pattern imprinted paving solution, provides a practical and aesthetically pleasing alternative to cobble paving. This maintenance free, cost-effective product is extremely durable and offers high skid resistance. ITS can provide this environmentally friendly solution in a variety of colours and patterns. It can be applied all year round, with minimal disruption to users.
Crack seals Timely repair of cracks will prevent problems from spreading and delay the need for resealing. Using the latest technology and products to repair pavement cracks we can extend the life of your roading asset and give you more flexibility in your reseal programme. Bridge joints Effective bridge expansion joints play a significant part in the life expectancy of bridges. Our preferred joint system forms an integral part of the wearing course of the bridge deck, ensuring good ride quality. It is a low maintenance, completely waterproof solution, which is quickly installed with minimal disruption to traffic.
