Long life Road Marking
Recent research into long life products and their optimum application has resulted in significant advantages. The benefits are both financial, from reduced frequency of application, and socio-economic, as improved retro reflectivity has resulted in a decrease in crashes normally associated with poor delineation.
We supply and install thermoplastic (thermo) and cold applied plastics (CAP) solutions. Both of these options provide longer life road marking with a higher level of performance under dark and wet conditions.
ITS’s development of ProDot, a highly reflective wet/night road marking solution, provides improved safety and visibility of road markings in all conditions. It offers three times the lifespan of regular line marking. This inventive approach received an Auckland City innovation award.
The increased viscosity of these products also allows for ‘structured’ and audio tactile profiled (ATP) markings.
ITS has an extensive fleet of applicator machines, allowing us to apply a wide range of products, to stringent quality standards.
