The TDM project aimed to optimise Auckland’s motorway operations by actively influencing travel patterns and managing corridor traffic conditions. It achieved this by using flow monitoring and control systems together with the delivery of traveler information.
ITS procured, assembled and installed 58 new ramp signals and 25 counting stations across the motorway network, to NZTA standards. These were integrated to VMS signs, the SCATS Traffic Management System and CCTV cameras. This project highlights our ability to successfully provide complex traffic signal solutions.
